Audio Engineer

Fernando Morales is a bi-national recording engineer and musician from Tijuana / San Diego whose career bridges underground music scenes and world-class studios. He started playing drums at 13 in local punk and hardcore bands before expanding into guitar, touring across the U.S. and Mexico. Today, he remains an active guitarist in the doom/post-metal band JASPE, bringing a musician-first perspective into every session. Fernando began recording bands at home in 2008 while studying Recording Arts at Southwestern College, earning his Associate of Science in Recording Arts & Technology in 2012, and started working professionally in studios shortly after.

Since then, Fernando has recorded in legendary Los Angeles studios including Capitol, EastWest, Ocean Way, Sound City, and Westlake, and has worked on the music scores for over 30 films and series. His credits include major titles such as The Conjuring franchise, Insidious, Annabelle, Aquaman, Malignant, and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, with additional feature films released through 2025. He has a deep passion for recording and mixing ensembles (acoustic or amplified) as well as pop vocals and Regional Mexicano, combining technical precision with an intuitive understanding of performance, dynamics, and feel.
