At Amplified Studios, we are proud to collaborate with local schools to inspire the next generation of musicians through our hands-on education programs. From teaching semester-long courses to leading engaging week or two-week sessions, we bring the world of recording and music technology to life for students. These programs include on-campus visits where we share industry knowledge and studio visits where students experience professional recording environments firsthand. All our courses are fully customizable to suit the unique needs of each school, ensuring that we align with their goals, schedules, and budgets. Whether it’s a field trip, an in-depth workshop, or an immersive semester, we work closely with educators to create meaningful and accessible experiences that foster creativity and develop real-world skills.
OUR FULL-SEMESTER PROGRAM
WITH CARLSBAD HIGH SCHOOL
For the last 3 years we had the pleasure of collaborating with CBHS on a fully customized 26-class semester program focused on recording and music production. Held both on their campus and at Amplified Studios, the course provided students with hands-on experience in recording a band, mixing, and learning essential tools and techniques of modern audio production. It also covered key aspects of the music industry, including pre-production, marketing, and business. Tailored to CBHS’s schedule, budget, and goals, this program is a model we can replicate for any school. Whether it’s a semester-long course, a shorter intensive course, or workshops, we work closely with schools to create flexible, budget-friendly programs that inspire and educate students. We’re thrilled to start another semester with CBHS this February and look forward to collaborating with more schools to shape the next generation of music professionals

Our full-semester programs offer a hands-on education in music production and the recording industry. Designed to fit each school's needs, these immersive courses blend classroom learning with professional studio sessions. Students collaborate to record the same song, then mix it individually, honing both technical and creative skills. Along the way, they gain experience in recording, mixing, and industry-standard equipment while exploring pre-production, music marketing, branding, and creative techniques. With customizable scheduling and budgets, our programs provide an accessible, engaging path for aspiring audio professionals.
3-day long advanced recording program

Amplified Studios offers a hands-on music production program that immerses students in recording, mixing, and the music industry. Combining on-campus seminars with a full-day studio experience, students learn essential skills in music production, PR, branding, and AI in mixing. During the studio day, they act as recording engineers, working with our team to record and mix a live band. Seminars cover topics like pre-production, guitar tone, and creative recording. With flexible scheduling, our program delivers an engaging, real-world learning experience.
FEILD TRIPS AT AMPLIFIED

Our day-long field trip program immerses students in audio production and the music industry. Designed for aspiring creators, this hands-on experience covers studio operations, essential recording gear, and collaborative podcast production. Students will record a podcast snippet, create intro and outro music, and explore studio equipment like patch bays, DI boxes, and mixing boards. The day ends with an industry panel, where professionals share insights and answer questions. This engaging program offers a practical introduction to the recording industry, inspiring creativity and real-world skills.
6-WEEK LONG voiceover recording PROGRAM

Our interactive six-week course introduces students to audio engineering, podcast production, and branding. Ideal for schools seeking hands-on learning, it covers live sound, studio recording, and audio post-production. Students gain skills in signal flow, troubleshooting sound systems, podcast recording and editing, and creating brand kits. The course concludes with a studio day at Amplified Studios, where students present their final projects—a professionally edited podcast and a complete brand kit. Each class builds technical and creative expertise, covering microphone use, signal routing, client communication, and mixing techniques.

Our on-campus seminars bring music production and recording directly to your classroom. These interactive sessions cover recording techniques, PR and branding, pre-production, creative production methods, and AI’s role in mixing and mastering. Whether a single class or a multi-day seminar, students gain real-world skills and hands-on experience, sparking their passion for audio production and the music industry.
8-week beat-making program

Our engaging 8-week Beat-Making course introduces students to music production using the free online DAW, Bandlab. Through hands-on learning, they’ll produce beats, create songs with MIDI sounds, and collaborate on music projects. The course also covers music business essentials like promotion, networking, and distribution. Over eight weeks, students build their own song using drum tracks, samples, virtual instruments, and effects, culminating in a final listening party to showcase their work.
