WHAT IS THE AMPLIFIED STUDIO
SNYTH LAB?
Our synth lab is a collection of highly capable digital and analog synthesizers available to our recording clients at no charge. Our recording package allows you to spend time with these instruments to get familiar with their complex operating systems, and Bob Berman, our keyboard tech, will guide you through the programming process for each one. Bob has been using programmable keyboard instruments for 50 years and can help you find "that sound patch" you're looking for. If there is a sound you want for your recording, we can reproduce it. He'll also assist during your recording and act as your keyboard technician.

Moog One
One of the most sophisticated synths today, the Moog One, is designed to create sounds and sequences for songs, soundtracks, and commercial applications demanding a custom, one-off creation using their high-quality samples as a starting point. It allows the user to program sounds to a molecular level for the desired outcome and contains thousands of sound patches.
Korg Kronos
A full-on programmable music production workstation with an enormous library of sounds that allows the user to create complete songs with customized or stock sound patches for every part: drums, bass, lead, and chords. It will enable full digital programming on any of its sounds to a profound level. We have a 61 semi-weighted key version and an 88 fully-weighted piano key model.
Oberheim OBX8
A combination of all Oberheim OB synths: OB8, OBX, OBSX, and the OBX8. Oberheim programmable synths have an iconic sound that has been everywhere in the recorded music industry since the 1980s.
Access virus 2
The Virus is a unique, programmable synth with 3,000 patches used to create sound effects, instruments, and soundtracks for EDM and film/audio soundtracks.
nord wave 2
Nord Wave 2 is a profoundly programmable synth that allows the user to get to the root of the sound patches and program them as needed. It has hundreds of valuable patches and is one of the most widely used synths for performing bands.
hammond b3 organ
The Hammond B3 is one of the most sought-after stage and recording keyboards in music for its sound, which goes from smooth patches to screaming leads, and its unique speaker system. This Leslie speaker pushes the sound through a rotating tweeter (800 hz and lower) and a 15" bass speaker covered by a rotating baffle.
roland Fantom 8
A keyboard workstation with many high-quality sound patches, combinations, and effects that can be run through an onboard synthesizer to create amazing sounds. It also features a full programmable percussion center and an 88-note fully weighted key bed with a fantastic piano section.
yamaha montage
Yamaha's premier sound-generating synth with thousands of high-quality patches and combinations to cover every genre and style. It is used extensively for EDM and stage performance applications. The Montage series is seen on the stage, with most touring bands as their go-to synth for straight, high-quality sound patches.
